Chiefs Alex Smith being shopped around?

I was listening to 610 on the radio this morning and they were gushing over PMII. They were mentioning that the Chiefs were possibly entertaining AS to Jacksonville because of their confidence in PHII. They said there were trade rumors yesterday regarding this situation so I thought I'd come on here and find something but... NOTHING!

You guys heard anything?

They also played a Mike Vick interview of him talking about PMII and Vick spoke highly of him as well. I think the interview clip was of Vick on the Cowherd show.

There's no truth to the rumor, at the moment... a Jaguars blog posted an article of QBs who would be good options for them to acquire right now, and Smith was the cover picture. Jalen Ramsey likes the post, and that led the internet to run with it... so people started to ask themselves 'what if?'

But no, it's not happening.

Unless a team is willing to fork over a 1st, I doubt the Chiefs are remotely interested in letting Smith go.

I love me some Mahomes and I'm not exactly an Alexsexual, but dude....no way the Chiefs would do that for THIS season...unless the Jags are willing to throw us an insane return for Smith.

Trading Smith at this point would kill the season. He's had the reps with the ones from the start. Makes no sense no matter how happy they are with Mahomes.

The idea has crossed my mind several times. Especially since these are my teams. I think Alex would win the south with the jags if he could handle the heat. Good trade for both teams.

Rumors circulating that Darnold might not even declare and Rosen is Kaepernick 2.0 per scouts.

The more time that goes by, the more likely I think the Chiefs could get a 1st from an extremely desperate team like the Jags.
