before digging into ANOTHER BINGE THAT KEEPS ME FROM MY MANLY RESPONSIBILITIES... i feel like if the defenders had appeared with netflix BEFORE marvels iron man hulk spidey adventure, it would be more popular than it is. that said i have low expectations from what little teasers have been out there. :-) [Reply]

It's actually kind of amazing how Iron Fist took everything off the rails. [Reply]

This. So much this.
That show has pretty much killed my excitement with the MCU. I will of course watch Defenders, but it feels more like a duty than something I am looking forward too. Every time I see the trailers with Rand I cringe. :-) [Reply]

Luke Cage was tough to get through as well. Mostly due to the incredibly slow pacing. [Reply]

Supposedly the coregraphers From daredevil are doing the fights so I'm hopeful it kicks ass. In both seasons the fights in Daredevil are as good as anything I've seen on TV. [Reply]
I'm halfway in. It starts slow, primarily setup for 2-3 episodes. I've enjoyed all of it so far. There isn't much fighting to this point, a bit right at the beginning and then a lot around 3-4. They've done a better job with both Luke Cage and Danny Rand than at any point during either of their series. As expected Charlie Cox basically steals the show anytime he's on screen, but everyone is good.
I'm excited to see the next four episodes. [Reply]
