All the hacking WVU did and only had like 2 fouls with 6 mins left in the half. And then there was the convenient "inadvertent whistle" that killed MU's momentum when they were putting it on them...allowed WVU to set their defense.....
Good game by MU....they earned the win and had it taken away from them by some really shitty calls [Reply]
I actually thought Mizzou played very well, but they had a rough 3-4 minute patch dealing with WVU's press. That's something experience will help with over time; these guys are super young. Learn and move forward. WVU got the benefit of some late calls, but hey, gotta give 'em credit for playing tough until the final whistle. [Reply]
Impressive three games from the Tigers. WVU is tuff and they never give up. I am saddened by the loss of MPJ for the program but am so happy Jonte is getting some much deseved attention. IMHO he has more of an NBA body than his older brother and could take the pounding a bit better. Thought so in high school, still think so now. If these 3 games tell nothing else it should let Mizzery fans know this was not going to be a 1 man show and to look forward to meaningful games in March. [Reply]
