Confirmed, per source, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation which was successfully reduced in the hospital. No surgery required. He will stay overnight.
The only reason he would to the IR would be that the Chiefs medical staff says he's gonna be down for 7-8 weeks before he can come back. If they say down a month then "week to week depending" he stay active so he can be back after 6 if cleared. [Reply]
Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill stayed overnight in Jacksonville with his sternoclavicular subluxation but he’s arriving in KC shortly and doing better, per sources. No word yet on length of absence.

As you said though, it isn’t a lower body injury. Once he’s cleared, it won’t affect how productive he is. Maybe he’s a little shy about taking big hits after, but that’s probably a good thing.
