NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Chiefs are the team making the "most noise" about trading up, perhaps into the top 10.
Could the Chiefs be looking for an exit strategy from the Alex Smith era? Syracuse.com reported earlier Thursday that Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes is expected to go in the top 10, and that the Chiefs are "known to love him." That's still a fair amount of dot connecting, but perhaps sensing a window that won't be open much longer, the Chiefs are on the hunt for an impact player. [Reply]
