it's just horrible.
The acting is God awful. None of the characters are memorable at all. I'll stick with it to the end because it's almost over but damn, movies and TV just can't get The Mist right. Better left on the pages. [Reply]
Speaking of King adaptations, has anyone watched "Mr. Mercedes" yet? I have it recorded but haven't watched it yet. Haven't read the book yet either, so have no comparison. [Reply]

Never read the book and based on what we all seem to concur on, I am skipping the show. Unless you say it's good after a few weeks. [Reply]

Haven't seen it. Watched the Mist. It is terrible. [Reply]
Not complaining, but it sucks to see this at the top of the forum, and it not be about IT. Well, kind of complaining, but it's my problem to deal with, and I'm voicing it.

Carry on, fellas.
Well, prior adaptations of King's work seems appropriate until the movie actually comes out, since we are hoping history doesn't repeat itself. :-)
"Haven" was another series based (loosely) on a King story. It was okay for a season or two but went to shit after that. [Reply]
Plus there's only so much we can discuss about an upcoming movie that everybody basically knows the whole premise and how it turns out(if they "Mist" the ending, I'm going to be pissed. IT is a classic good vs evil story where good wins out, eventually). [Reply]
