Pretty alarmist, IMO, but possible.

Spoiler!

$1.29 in Springfield last night. That was nice.

First time I've filled up since this thing started, due to working from home and not driving hardly at all.

The cheapest that I've seen at the pumps so far is 90¢ when I was in Shawnee Oklahoma. I used my app to get an additional 25¢ off. My car has a small tank, so I only got 10 gallon. But I filled my tank for $6.50. That is by far the lowest price that I've ever paid for gas.

I can't wait until they stay paying me to fill my tank. Also is the environment fixed now that we've been driving so much less?

Los Angeles has seen the most consecutive Clean Air Days since the 60's.

Reports all over the world are that beaches, rivers, lakes and seas are cleaner due to the fact that more than 4 billion people are not driving, not in the water, etc. and so on.

So the answer to that question is while the environment is most certainly better, it's far from being "fixed".

Well at least something good has come from all of this shit. Maybe even this brief reprieve from years long mistreatment will have lasting effects for the environment.

The LA Times is reporting that number of bears in Yosemite has quadrupled since they were officially closed. The bobcat and coyote population is more prevalent as well.

The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is declining as well.

All of this happening around springtime is definitely going to result in a boom of wild animal populations. It sucks though because humans are going to come back out in full force at some point in the future and knock those populations back down where they were.

My friend sent me pictures of the LA skyline recently and its so crazy how clear and clean it all looks.

Views from Phoenix surrounding mountains have been crazy clear. No smog, dust, etc. And no allergies.

In Los Angeles, we've had an inordinate amount of rain in the past 30 days, which will in turn provide a water source and more vegetation than normal, resulting in a much larger wildlife population than normal.

There's already a ton of wildlife all throughout the parks and trails in Los Angeles but because they're within city limits, citizens are not allowed to kill them.

But you're right, Animal Control may be very, very busy in the future.

It's always been a fantasy of mine to be a sex slave for 2 bears, male and female, pleasing the male when she's tired, and vice versa.
