You are correct. I had no idea lol Haven't heard a SINGLE person discuss baseball yet. It's simply unbelievable.

With the spring he's having and the current injury/shitty outfield situation do you guys think they're going to start Victor Scott with the big club or send him down?

I'd just claim Myles Straw off waivers and send Scott down.

6 in one hand, half dozen in the other. And it doesn't start the service clock on Scott that way.

I would send him down also, mainly because of the service time but what do you think they will do?

Probably have him start the first 3 games of the year, he’ll bat 1-13 and they’ll leave him on the bench for another 6 weeks before sending him back down

Send him down and start Carlson in CF.

Dude got drafted in 2022. He's not ready to hit at this level. And getting carved up as a rookie set Carlson back possibly for good.

There's zero short term benefit to bringing him north since we're drawing dead anyway. So don't risk it.

I hope that's what they do. Carlson coulda been a contender!

Carlson will be a quality everyday player once we trace him. He needs better coaching that this organization will provide.

He was getting it with Shildt and was developing nicely. Then...well... You know.

He'll get traded for a DFA candidate, his new team will send him to Driveline and he'll be a 3-4 WAR player in a matter of months.

Carlson and Walker just collided on a fly ball. I was listening on the radio and don't know if Carlson was calling Walker off or what. Outfield is gonna be a problem.

Walker says he never heard Carlson calling him off.

Now Mo will have an excuse. Would have won if Carlson didn’t get hurt.

Are the last few years the most lethargic, boring, and uninspiring teams in club history?

He seemed fine in the dugout afterwards. Is there news of an actual injury?

Dylan Carlson left today's game with a "left shoulder injury" after colliding with Jordan Walker, per #STLCards. pic.twitter.com/5zK6S7nZwm

Starting on the West Coast vs Dodgers and Pads is certainly doing us no favors. If we come home 3-3 it will be a major victory. I suspect 1-5 is closer to reality tho.

I am excited to see the Walker, Winn, Scott play.

The geriatric pitching staff is another story.
