Not sure I hate that plan right now. I'm kidding, of course, but with our depth at DB, I'm comfortable letting a large number of OL compete for spots.

(Honestly, though, I think we already have several good OL ready to contribute. Andy/Veach's model of taking young talented guys and giving them some time to learn/grow has worked pretty darn well.)

I'm not opposed to getting more OL.

I'm just opposed to doing it in a way the gives up value and hurts our ability to address other positions.

Some people seem to think they should focus on offensive line no matter what, damn any other needs. That's not how championship teams are built.

Huh?

This is under the hypothetical that they get a free agent WR.

And they’d still be drafting one.

He’s talking about the posters that are saying offensive line and nothing else.

Sorry, I didn't see anything about a FA WR in either your post or Pugs' post that you responded to.

I was simply responding to the idea that we should draft OL and wait on DE/WR until the 3rd or 4th.

Yea it wasn’t actually said, but the point I was trying to make is that they should want the Chiefs to fill those holes in free agency so they can focus on OL early.

Not only that but if we sign a guy like him im affraid the priority to draft an edge rusher gets knocked down a peg as well.
He played 91% of snaps (1013 snaps) for the Texans. Frank clark played 70%(756 snaps) for us.

How has this hit page 12?

In what world does this move make sense?

Hes missed significant time in recent years, is 31, and his production has slipped since. At this point hes a solid rotational guy with a known name.
