"They found no positives among the samples collected in January and 10 positives in February"

Your article disputes your claim.

If you have enough testing 11 days might be enough to see the beginning of a spike.

Without testing, it will take several weeks to see the spike in hospitals.

You didn't read the article very well.

And just because the first positive was towards the end of January doesn't mean you had it especially in the Midwest. There is no evidence of that.

I got really sick February 17. I had the flu. Not Corona.

Those in critical go up again. New cases spiked today. This is far from over. You want to see 100k new cases a day? Open states back up to normal.

It appears ppl struggled with distancing during Easter. We are starting to see the effects in the numbers, perhaps. Expect this trend to continue for at least another week assuming no states "reooen" of roll back social distancing measures.

Kansas is already seeing a spike. We've had our worst 3 days of newly reported cases the past 3 days.

Ryan Levebre: if you are scoring at home Pennsylvania takes 250 deaths off the board for overcounting deaths and Sweeney's hit in the 6th inning has been changed to an E3 so take away the RBI for him.

Denny Matthews: Hurph... well here we go onto the top of the 8th...... The Indians haven't done a great job of moving runners tonight....

Question maybe someone smarter than me can answer.

If the reports of these antibody tests are correct, there were a couple hundred thousand people infected in these areas in mid march. Yet hospitals weren't really over run. I'm not being smarmy or anything, but waht the hell is going on in NY that it hit so much harder there?

I know for a fact there were Doctors in this area during that time who were testing people for the flu and they were coming back negative yet they were sick as **** and one doctor made the comment "it's almost like there is something else going around"

there is no evidence of it because we weren't looking for it

How do you know you had the flu? The only way to know for sure is if you got tested for the flu.

It depends on if there was community spread in those areas. We know it was here in January, but we don't really know yet how spread it was.
