Kind of looked like it was a kick to a spot to prevent a return and put someone in the position of blocking her or her having to tackle anyone.

If that's the case, why not just have her kick it for real and then run away from contact? Instead they just made her look incompetent.

It reminded me of a high school kickoff. Still, most high school kickers are better.
