I’m expecting the news stations to stop calling Fauci a Coronavirus expert. It’s misleading. I know what his field is. Why add Coronavirus expert to the title on all of these headlines? There is no such thing as a Coronavirus expert. Plain and simple, yet the US thinks they have one somehow.

They probably should be cremating people for a situation like this.

Dr Fauci is working 19-20 hour days right now and his wife has to remind him to sleep and drink. Usually he works 15-hour days. Also, normally he runs 7-miles a day, right now he is down to 3.5 miles. He is 79-years-old and still running like that! Pretty amazing!

He clearly isn't doing what he does to get rich. He enjoys helping people and enjoys his field. He is a different kind of person. Gotta respect his dedication.

It's not misleading. Coronaviruses have been around a long time.

NYC’s healthcare system is being pushed to the limit.

And sadly, now so is the city’s system for managing our dead. And it, too, needs more resources.

This has big implications for grieving families. And for all of us. 1/

Impossible. I was just told earlier in this thread our hospitals are fine.

Really? Were you alive for 9/11? Remember how the public reacted? You are seriously underestimating the American public's "fear" portion on how we get out of this mess.

The chance of getting killed in a terrorist attack was so minuscule but they still stayed at home. Since 9/11, foreign-born terrorists have killed roughly one American per year.

Someone can look it up but the chance of getting coronavirus and dying is a helluva lot higher than one person per year.

Because they are, using NY as your example doesn't make your argument any stronger.

The VAST majority of hospitals in our country are fine. I mean thats just the numbers but what ever....

Like New York hospitals were fine when it was peaking in Italy.

You’re using your own argument against yourself. It’s not likely to peak everywhere at the same time

I'm not saying that, but we are not maxing out our hospitals capacity or ventilators as country. That was my point meaning we have the resources to fight this.

We can move those resources as time goes on as well.
