We'll see if the Warriors recover from the end of the season stretch of stinkers.

Yep, No doubt... Tilman Fertitta owns casinos and big time Restaurant Chains, the Pleasure Pier in Galveston Island (Shit, he owns nearly the whole island) owns properties and an amusement park at Clear Lake Etc., Has his own Reality TV Show, they're naming the new basketball arena at UH after him (Fertitta Center). Dude is IT in Houston. - Owning an NBA team is "Candy" for him. (His words and he said that he LOVES candy). He can easily fund any luxury tax thrown his way and he will, because he understands to make $$$ will cost $$$. He also said they can match ANY offer for Capella (I think he said something about falling under Bird Rights on the Radio the other day) and he said that he will do whatever it takes to bring Houston another NBA Championship. The $$$ aspect is the least thing to consider when talking about LeBron to Houston. Tilman understands how the NBA has changed and he said that you're either a "Player" or you're not. He is.

Personally, I don't really know how I feel about LeBron coming to Houston. There's a part of me that thinks that would "Cheapen" winning the Title but another part in me realizes that if not Houston - he will go somewhere, which will make it harder for Houston to win an NBA Title. So, I'm kinda warming up to the idea of him coming here because in all likelihood, it would mean several Titles. He would have an Owner and GM and be teamed up with a couple of Top 10 NBA Players, that would keep things rolling as long as possible. If he wants to catch Jordan in NBA Titles, Houston affords the best immediate chance for that. He's not getting any younger.

Down 11% from game 4 last year and 30% from the deciding game 5.

I guess I wasn’t the only one.

I was with you. Did not watch one second and had NO interest at all. Not sure how the ratings went but I'd bet anything they were not good..... I can tell you that I know many who did the same thing.

IF James were to go to Houston, he most definately would pair up with Harden, CP3 and Capella. Im including CP3 because that part of it would already be settled if James committed to playing in Houston. Even with a sometimes broken CP3, Houston would have more than enough to take down GS.

Ariza would be the odd man out but he is terrible agsinst GS anyway so no loss there. Give me James over him, and some roll players, all day every day.

Bottom line is the Rockets would make James, CP3, Harden AND Capella happen IF James wants to come to Houston. Tilman's word is good enough for me.
Doesnt matter what Tillman says the salary cap doesnt lie.You cannot supermax CP3, max Capela and sign Lebron to the max outright. It would require a sign and trade with the Cavs. And Houston has no package worthy enough for the Cavs to ever agree. So the only option for Houston is signing Lebron outright which you cant max both CP3, Capela and Lebron to make that work numbers wise. Someone would have to take a discount (hint: none of them are taking discounts)

I really enjoy NBA and college basketball. I guess I am just bored with reruns.

While I always enjoy Lebron getting his ass kicked the Cavs/Warriors thing has gotten stale. The Warriors/Rockets was fun as hell though. Time to just seed 1-16 and **** conferences.

If the superteam trend continues might as well just seed it 1-4...

It seemed Lebron spent the last 3 games of the series pointing fingers and talking down to his guys. It is the coaches job to correct their mistakes-not Lebron calling them out every time out. You could just tell by the body language, they were tuning him out and tired of his attitude. The narrative was- Lebron is the Greatest- and the rest of the team is shit.

Lebron has amazing talents- generational gifts on the court- but I think his image took a hit by the way he handled things when the team fell behind.
Jordan was fortunate to have a better coach than Lebron ever had

As for yelling, Kobe barked at his teammates, visibly. He was top dog, just like Lebron and Jordan.

All three had an intense desire to win, and you better not be a slacker on their teams, and you'd better remember the score

:-)

Yes, all true for sure.

When his career is over, Lebron will own every record for Playoff stats- except Championships won.

Records due to high volume of games played... not a lot of PG and PS stats. Just the longevity type records aided a lot by a shit Eastern conference. The longevity stuff is how Lebronies like to slant arguements.

So the player's union president (Paul) and the second in command in the union (LeBron) are going to take less than what was bargained for. Yeah good luck with that.

At least he has one supporting cast that's useful to him https://t.co/RA65sqryQD

Yeah, pay cuts with LeBron are definitely not going to happen and it is for exactly that reason.
