The number of people admitted to hospitals with blade injuries rose 8% from the year before.

Knives are the most common weapon used in slayings in the U.K., where guns are tightly restricted. About 40% of the country’s homicide victims were stabbed to death last year, while only 4% were shot.

Is there any actual evidence that Muslims in the UK are committing more of the knife crime, or is this just the CP experts™ on the case again? Because in America at least the trend is the exact opposite for immigrants.

The UK already has draconian knife laws. They can't legally carry a folding knife that has a locking mechanism for the blade. A basic pocket knife safety feature to keep idiots from folding the knife onto their fingers when using it. And the blade length laws are ridiculous too.

Uncle Merris used to gather us kids around as he relaxed by the fireplace. He'd say, "Guns don't kill people. Holes do."

IMO, the same principle applies to knives.

What's sad is that we're probably not all that far away from something like that.

Sound familiar?
From three different posts in this thread:

Speaking before talks with the home secretary, Sajid Javid,

Rakhia Ismail, Islington deputy mayor,

The mayor, Sadiq Khan,

I am seeing a pattern here that may be part of the problem.
