President Obama, at the same date, had 47 percent of the country behind him, down from 57 percent the year earlier.

The stock market is skittish, trade wars loom, President Trump tweets with abandon, Stormy Daniels dominates headlines, White House staff members come and go, and – oh yes – there’s pesky Special Counsel Robert Mueller trying to find evidence that President Trump obstructed justice or that he or his campaign conspired with the Russians.

Democrats wonder, how on Earth can Trump be gaining ground?

Here’s a clue: real growth is running above 3 percent, unemployment claims are the lowest since 1969, wage growth is the best since 2009 and Americans are more optimistic than they have been since 2004.

Imagine his approval rating without the constant negative MSM coverage (some deserved) and a fake Russia collusion investigation.

The data from March surpasses the president's previous lows in the Morning Consult poll. In October and November, 42 percent of respondents approved of Trump's job performance and 53 percent disapproved.

It is a small dip from his February numbers, when 43 percent of respondents approved of the job he was doing in the White House and 52 percent disapproved.

Trump's approval ratings also dropped month-to-month in a number of states that supported him in the 2016 race, including a 9 percent drop in Iowa and a 6-point dip in Idaho and Tennessee.

The March poll compiles data from surveys conducted from March 1 to 31 among 97,693 registered voters in every state and Washington, D.C.

Rasmussen nailed the presidential election. Maybe because they don't slant their questions to get the answer they desire. Seriously, go look at how most polling firms word their questions. It's embarrassing and extremely deceptive.

You think that polling firms are intentionally wording their questions to engineer some kind of answer? For what purpose? So they can get inaccurate results and give one side a false sense of security? The logic makes absolutely no sense. There is nothing in it for anybody.

As far as Rasmussen, they and many others were within the margin of error. They happened to be the most accurate among the major polling firms, but not by much, and let's not forget that they were way off in 2012 when they had Romney with a slight lead heading into election day.

Regardless of the absolute accuracy of the poll and their methods, unless they decided to completely change their polling base the results show a net gain of 9 points in the last year.

Now see if you libtards can figure out what that means.

It means none of the blanket propaganda is working.

It means despite clearly biased polls Trump is up to respectable (which likely means he's doing very well with the common voter.)

The Rasmussen poll is garbage. It's a right-wing website that specializes in confirmation bias. It's the Fox News of polling.

All of the other polls show Trump's approval rating to be at 41% and dropping.

You are right about one thing, however: #MAGA. Trump is Making America Greatly Ashamed.

Luckily this will all be over in 2019.

Roughly 45% and RISING.

29% to (at worst) 45% is a steady and slow RISE...

Aggregate polls:

Real Clear Politics is at 41.5% approval

538 has him at 40.2%

And the most recent Rasmussen poll has him back down to 47%
