Nzoner's Game Room>Who is the best running back in the NFL?
lewdog 02:16 PM 10-18-2020
Let's discuss.

The positions used to be heavily regarded but the game has changed and serviceable backs seem to be common place in many years.

However, let's discuss the best back in the league. Who is it?

The funny thing about this discussion...

If you took the whole list of names in this thread, you'd have a who's who of teams that are .500 or worse, other than Henry.

Just goes to show you how much the game has changed.

Toss up between CEH and Bell, IMO.

It's Kamara, he's carried his offense. Henry was only averaging 3 yards a carry before today.

Last week Cook, who had highest DVOA, gets hurt and his backup steps in and gets even bigger numbers. Hard to say who is best because scheme and line play are most of it. Chubb has best YAC.

Someone must have accadently hit thumbs down on this post but I hit thumbs up. I'd go with CEH as he is young and hungry and we will benefit from him more in the playoffs but regular season I think Bell makes up for losing D Williams even though we drafted Clyde before they knew D Williams was going opt out for the season.

Hunt isn't even the best running back on his team.

Probably depends on the offense. Henry is great but probably best for a ball control team. McCaffrey if you want a your rb very involved in the passing game. I kinda like zeke as the best for a conventional offense though it doesn't help that his defense has been dogshit this year.
