Book a cruise. Get the Presidential Suite at a bargain and if one of the crews members or fellow passengers test positive you are living large quarantined in your Presidential Suite! :-) Free WiFi onboard to update Cp'ers on your extended vacation. :-)

At the end of this month, I have a mini-vay drive trip to Asheville, NC, Blue Ridge Mountains planned, stopping on my way to visit my daughter in JAX, then a cousin in SC. The SO brought up the idea of canceling it due to the Corona virus. I said, we won't be flying in a tin can full of people but a single car, and since most are canceling their trips, there will be hardly anyone there to catch anything from and it'd be less crowded and we'd get better prices on everything. I'm not usually a glass is half-full kinda' person but in this case, I am. :-)

We might not to be able to emulate what China did, but we really need to look at what S Korea is doing as their efforts appear to be working:

To fight the coronavirus, South Korea is testing hundreds of thousands of people everywhere, from clinics to drive-through stations.

It appears to be paying off. https://t.co/LBN6WIxfy7

This could be the shift to digital currency. All paper money and coins infected with Coronavirus. What a coincidence that just six weeks after "EVENT 201" took place simulating a CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC it's happening. Bill Gates is really into vaccines right? Look at some of the Bill Gates clips on YouTube talking about vaccines. In one interview Bill Gates says that vaccines could result in "Reducing the population growth".

I've been re-playing the Mad Max video game and the story is based on a pandemic virus. My character is eating old cans of dog food and the maggots in corpses while he laments that there aren't any more Praying Mantis bugs to eat. Those were good eatin.

I think my experience playing this game will prepare me for the coming apocalypse.

4/ Another surprise: the Chinese data where the 80% “mild” cases number comes from —that was not a “mild cold”.

That was: you have a fever, possibly even a full pneumonia. Not your run-of-the-mill sniffles.

“Severe” (which was ~15%) meant you were on oxygen or a ventilator.

Oh hell yes. It came out I think in 2015 and I played through it twice then, decided this past weekend it was good for another go.

I get that Trump has claimed it, and Trumpers tend to regurgitate what he claims, but damn...

Italy has banned weddings and funerals for 16 million people. Japan has closed schools for a month. France and Iraq have banned public gatherings. The U.N. has canceled all physical meetings to address climate change. Americans are uncertain what to do about Coachella. https://t.co/xFR45Z8dZk

An email I received from SouthWest Airlines on their advanced cleaning procedures being used on their aircraft. They even have a blog, photos and videos of the updated procedure.
An Update Regarding Coronavirus
...We want you to feel confident when traveling with Southwest Airlines. As a result, we have enhanced some of our cleaning procedures in the interest of our Customers' and Employees' health and safety.

Aircraft Cleaning: We spend between 6-7 hours cleaning each aircraft every night, and, as of March 4, 2020, we have enhanced our overnight cleaning procedures. Typically, we use an EPA approved, hospital-grade disinfectant in the lavatories and an interior cleaner in the cabin. Now, we are expanding the use of the hospital-grade disinfectant throughout the aircraft, and it will be used in the cabin, on elements in the flight deck, and in the lavatory. This goes beyond the standard CDC guidelines.

Also, we equip each of our aircraft with a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, which filters out recirculated air onboard each plane to remove airborne particles. HEPA filters are also used in hospitals to provide patients with clean air.

To learn more about our enhanced aircraft cleaning procedures, visit our blog for a detailed overview, along with a video and photos of the process.

In addition...Hopefully, these policies provide comfort to all of our Customers that they can book travel on Southwest as normal, and, if the circumstances change in the future, they can alter their plans without the penalty of a fee.
