Well to be fair, if Alex doesn't lose that popup in the lights its only 9-2. That's hardly Duffy's fault.

I'm just following along on mlb.com - they didn't go into details about the hits, just that they keep happening. :-)

With two outs, Alex lost a pop fly in the lights. It landed 20 some feet behind him. Two runs scored on that play.

Those weren’t sacrifices even if the first was a quality at bat.

Chris Sale had 17 K in 7 innings for the Red Sox tonight, but got pulled after 108 pitches. In the olden days they would have run him out there and gone for 21 or 22 K and the record.

I should had said 0-1. My bad.

The Sac Fly does not count at a AB. The fielder's choice does though.

99 R/122 RBI
83 K (12.5%)
6.7 bWAR (career-high)

143 wRC+

I mean, if he wants to come back, you have to try at that point, don’t you?
No. You let him walk unless he wants to play on a 1 year deal for 2M. He'll be 36. Hes got a nice .195, 6 hr year coming very soon. We should trade him now. At peak value. Hopefully he can keep this up closer to the trade deadline
