I will say that I'm not buying into the BS that the conspiracy theorists or freedom fighters have been spouting, but if cases keep rising while deaths keep falling, it may be a good indication that the mutation theory is correct and this thing has lost potency.

We've been talking about a spike in cases since the end of May, so one would think the death spike would have happened sometime in June.

239 Experts With One Big Claim: The Coronavirus Is Airborne

The W.H.O. has resisted mounting evidence that viral particles floating indoors are infectious, some scientists say. The agency maintains the research is still inconclusive.

The coronavirus is finding new victims worldwide, in bars and restaurants, offices, markets and casinos, giving rise to frightening clusters of infection that increasingly confirm what many scientists have been saying for months: The virus lingers in the air indoors, infecting those nearby.

If airborne transmission is a significant factor in the pandemic, especially in crowded spaces with poor ventilation, the consequences for containment will be significant. Masks may be needed indoors, even in socially-distant settings. Health care workers may need N95 masks that filter out even the smallest respiratory droplets as they care for coronavirus patients.

Ventilation systems in schools, nursing homes, residences and businesses may need to minimize recirculating air and add powerful new filters. Ultraviolet lights may be needed to kill viral particles floating in tiny droplets indoors.

The World Health Organization has long held that the coronavirus is spread primarily by large respiratory droplets that, once expelled by infected people in coughs and sneezes, fall quickly to the floor.

But in an open letter to the W.H.O., 239 scientists in 32 countries have outlined the evidence showing that smaller particles can infect people, and are calling for the agency to revise its recommendations. The researchers plan to publish their letter in a scientific journal next week.

WHO says coronavirus deaths could start to rise again after cases accelerated in recent weeks, shouldn’t ‘be a surprise’

I think we're definitely going to see a noticeable increase today due to lack of reporting over the weekend. Hopefully we don't go way over last Monday.

Not nearly enough air exchanges per hour for it to be effective would be my guess.

Tuesday I meant, but yeah. I'd say it's possible we are in the 800-1000 range today

We've got a couple purifiers in each of my offices. They're the most supped up ones I could get.

Hugh Osmond “From comorbidity data, I believe hospital infections may have led to 30%-40% of deaths, not 11% as admitted. If 50% of excess deaths from care homes, deaths in wider community could be less than 10,000. Not an epidemic. https://t.co/xip7Aa0AqE

As a medical professional married to a doctor do you think I get my info only from the media , and the info I get from the media is cross referenced with my 24 years of medical knowledge along with my wife’s and my colleagues year of knowledge and what we know about the effects of other Known viruses and the fact that we are seeing things with this one that we have never seen to this extent with previous ones.

I don’t follow US media much , especially of primetime “ entertainment “ news shows .
