If Lin can play the Steve Nash role in D's offense, Amare and Melo could make that scary.

Melo will have none of this Lin with the ball in his hands stuff when he returns. No points for you!!

Amare could.

Melo slows the game down way, way too much.

Lin's going to take a hit just because Melo is a compiler and I think cares more about his stats than ultimately winning.

Very true.

Westbrook shooting it well.

Westbrook has really perfected the 15-18 foot jumper. He's nearly impossible to stop when he takes care of the ball

Not a chance. Don't play enough defense to compete with the best in the East. And that will especially be the case when Melo and Amare return.

We were down on the court for warmups when the Thunder played the Knicks here. Lin walked past us twice and I wasn't sure if he was a player or a coach working out with them at the time. It's crazy he's the talk of the sports World now. Apparently, the Knicks were considering releasing him last week. Great story. I hope he keeps it up.

Good finish for the road trip for OKC tonight. I was worried about this 8 game stretch and I'll definately take 5-3.

21-6 when we've played 17 of 27 on the road. Not bad at all. If we can cut down turnovers watch the **** out.

How do you guys account for the success of Jeremy Lin? Did they finally release the Kaplan guide to basketball or what?

I won't call it a success until he carries this late into the season.

Except that Lin is actually fun to watch and I'm really enjoying watching a kid make a team better for the right reasons, than watching ballhogs who don't move the ball around demand attention. Tebow is brutal to watch.

It's going to be very interesting to see how Melo plays with Lin. Amare is going to be in seventh heaven--Lin has been an artist at the pick and roll, and Amare is going to eat other teams alive with it. Melo... I think he sets the team back big time if he doesn't change his style big time. But then... if Lin and Melo can play well enough to send the team to the 4th quarter, I don't think there's anything wrong with asking Melo to start taking over.
