Chiefs Devey to the Fade

I really thought that the Chiefs would lock him up for another year or 2. They've spent a lot of time developing him and he did pretty good filling in at center last year when Morse went down. He just got a one year deal. Details undisclosed.

Well that's kind of a kick in the nuts. Chiefs could've used him.

I really don't want the Chiefs to draft OL early....I mean I REAAAAALLY don't want that to happen.

Not too worried about this, we have that one guy. I'm sure Andy Veach and Brett Reid has things under control. If all else fails, Redskins might cut Alex Smith and since he can't Quarterback anymore because of his leg, perhaps he can play center. He knows the system at least?

So we've lost our #1 and #2 center from last year? This team sure doesn't like to invest at center. I'm fine with losing Morse, but at least some continuity would be nice.
