There's a table on the patio, and the snow is also UNDER the table - so the glass is well supported lol.

We had thunderstorms a couple of nights ago. It's always cool watching the lightning reflect off of a foot of snow!

Of course, it rained all day yesterday and was almost 60 degrees so it's time to change the thread title to "Another Fucking Flood Thread"

UPS was flagging packages as "undelivered due to natural disaster" in like half the country. LOL

When the front came thru SW Mo yesterday, it was strong enough to rip the fascia off of my shop. Arg!

We had several inches of wet heavy snow and 60mph winds since yesterday noon. Winds have slowed to the 25mph range. Lost power last night at 6pm and got it back on about 2am. Thank God temps were in the 25 degree range because it could of gotten cold real quick after the power went if it had been around zero. Looking around I see some 4ft drifts but see any major damage. Friends lost 3 trees in their yard and an attached patio canopy type thing.

We had 50 inches of February snows, melt in a 24 hour period along with rain. Much of Eastern Nebraska is now ocean front property..

Yep, same here in central Iowania.

The worst part is the big rivers are still 2 months away. When the snows in the Dakotas start melting, the fun is going to start.

1993 and 2008, here were come again.

Better stock up on the arm floaty things before they sell out. My farm ended up with a flood control pond on the upper Grand river drainage after the 93 floods if I remember correctly.

Des Moines had 275,000 people without fresh water for a couple of weeks.

In 2008, downtown Cedar Rapids had like 10 feet of water in it.

Not looking forward to this spring.
