I spent the afternoon cleaning up the backyard a little bit and watching the kid run around. I checked the KU game twice and it was obvious I didn't need to see this thing both times.
WE BETTER BE BIG 12 TOURNEY CHAMPS OR IM GONNA RIOT [Reply]

This is actually the worst KU team in the KenPom ratings since 2004. And yet they are still going to be a 1 or 2 seed. What a program Self has built. :-) [Reply]

It doesn’t. We should be praying for a one seed. That gives us the best chance to advance in the tourney. Anyone who “wants” us to be less than a one seed is just hedging so they can say “I told you so”. There’s no benefit to being seeded lower. [Reply]

KU, outside the midwest, is known purely as a choke artist program. Maybe sideways thinking, but getting sick of seeing the national media make a huge deal about them losing before the F4, and I dont think this team has much of a shot. [Reply]
Don't really care what the media does or doesn't say about this program, but I would rather not be the first #1 seed that loses to a #16. And I should warn you that if KU is a #1 seed this year, they are likely the weakest #1 seed of all time from a pure quality standpoint. From what we've seen this year, it's not completely out of the realm of possibility that they could lose such a game. [Reply]
lol i didnt realize that all these KU fans on here are giant pussies. Really you think this KU team would lose to a 16 seed? Come on, stop being scared. [Reply]

Did I say they would lose? No. They’d be significant favourites still.
But do I think they could depending on the quality of the 16 seed? Absolutely. This team has the normal statistical profile of a 4 seed. If they end up being a #1, they’ll be worse than any 1 that came before them. [Reply]

Uh, have you read this thread during games?
Really though, being the first team to lose to a 16 (unless it somehow happened twice in the same tournament, I guess) would really suck... and I barely even pay attention to the media. [Reply]
