Fans may have been clamoring before...but there was no real viable qbotf to turn to.

I hope Smith keeps playing well and wins us a SB and is the QB next year. I hope he makes the move to Mahomes difficult and then when we do make the change he stays as the veteran backup. It's great being two deep at the most important position and why anyone would want less is beyond me.
