But if you can at least slow down the transmissions between random people, then the households die out.
Missing a date. 6/29: Closing of bars, suspension of class 6 and 7 liquor licenses, gyms, theaters, water parks, tubing, and limiting private gatherings to less than 50 (10 for pools) because dickheads wouldn't adhere to the mandate. That's all reopening now at a measured pace and there were a number of establishments shut right back down again because they went right back to being dickheads. I commend Ducey for fixing the shit he created early on. Dickheads cause all the problems.

I think postponed would have been a better word to use.

If you google them you can read their press release. Where they state it is on hold for the time being.

So the first case was MS unrelated to vaccine and they aren't sure right now about the second person yet.

#COVID19 So $AZN/Oxford vaccine trial both clinical holds appear due to concerns of transverse myelitis

1st case in July had symptoms of TM, later diagnosed w multiple sclerosis per STAT, deemed unrelated

2nd case this wk had symptoms of TM, diagnosis not been confirmed yet pic.twitter.com/MjJA1sUcud

Missouri's 7 day positive % is dropping just a bit. We're also starting community testing again so I imagine that will mask the % go down as well.

There’s a lot of good news out there. The vaccine trial suspension is normal and the vaccine still looks very, very safe for almost all individuals.

The severity of the virus also seems to be dropping.

AZ has completely dropped in hospitalizations. Hospitals are running 75-80% less COVID capacity than our peak a few months ago.

We’ve been going to the store (masked) and riding out our immunity. Even saw some friends. Things seem much better than mid summer and I’m hopeful that no winter spike of COVID hits.

So I got to thinking...

How long does phase 3 the vaccine trials last?

....like what are we waiting for? Who’d decides it’s a success? ...and when?

All about safety at this point. It takes a certain amount of time and you’ve gotta be so specific woth safety.

There are multiple outside committees with no financial stake etc that review it all

Normally 1 to 3 years. With the rush that is being allowed I am not sure.
