After missing games? Is it still realistic? Folks were talking about him, Wilson and Mccaffrey before Thursday so I'm just wondering!!. IF he misses three games and then comes back and goes on decent TD tear then would that be enough? Unless someone like Wilson or Watson really step up big in his absence, I think he still has a shot at it. [Reply]
I figure he's out through the bye. Say we lose all 4 games (not predicting, just throwing out a scenario...) and the Chiefs are 5-6 on his return, on the verge of missing the playoffs. Win 5 to close out the season, including an upset at Foxboro, and look like a different team doing it, and he's definitely still in the discussion. [Reply]

1989 - Joe Montana was MVP.
He started 13 of 16 games; Steve Young started the other three. [Reply]
Am I the only person in the entire world who doesn't give a tinker's damn about the season MVP award (as far as who receives it, I mean ... including The Human Trebuchet)?
I couldn't care less ... neither do I care about anything else more lessly.
What I'm interested in is the Lamar Hunt trophy followed immediately by a Lombardi. That's the only damn award that means anything. Everything else is a stupid, pointless talking point talked up by pointless talkers.
Just want him to be healthy for the stretch run of the season. Hopefully they let him rest through the bye week. Good for the knee, but also good for the ankle. [Reply]
