There are approx 10,000 homicides by firearms per year. Guns are bad we have to make it harder to get them or ban the really scary ones.
What is the purpose of a car?

What is the purpose of a gun?

Shitty analogy.

No, the number of guns has soared. The number of guns owners is dropping.

I'm trying to understand where you are coming from. Why don't you think having armed protection would be worthwhile?

You just need to be smarter than a houseplant to understand it.

Liberals want to ban guns.
Conservatives want to cut funding at social services that improve mental health.

It's totally totally frustrating that both sides argue in this kind of way.

How many mass shootings were by people who weren't allowed to own guns?

Off the top of my head, that guy who shot up the church fell through the cracks of the background check system.

Maybe she was busy saving babies at abortion clinics? It's kind of hard to keep up with liberals killing humanity these days, even for Jesus.

Both sides are scared to death that if they give an inch the opposition will take a mile.

When it comes to gun control I believe it 100%. It will not happen overnight, it will be a slow steady stream of inches taken until the mile has passed by.

Mental health services infuriate me. Itís obvious they need to be expanded, and not simply because of mass murderers. General mental health and well-being improves EVERYONEíS quality of life.

Look at how many opportunities were missed under the current system due to human mistakes.

But hey, letís throw more laws at the problem. That will fix it!

We use cars for transportation. Guns are designed to kill things. Comparing them by relating homicides to drunk driving deaths is moronic.
