If you didn't expect some sort of rise in cases with re-openings then your head was in the sand to begin with.

Aerosols not being a big proponent of this would be huge. It never made sense to me that they were the primary driver, as they compared in this article to Measles.

Measles R0 is like 18 due to that.

If you vaccinate, you essentially wipe out the risk of getting it.

The reason people get the flu after getting the vaccine is because of mutation probability of influenza viruses. Corona viruses don't.

Vaccines are always better than a treatment.

"Schools do not play a major role in spreading the coronavirus, according to the results of a German study... 'Children act more as a brake on infection. Not every infection that reaches them is passed on.' Prof Reinhard Berner, Dresden Univ Hospital."https://t.co/KcOhEtRifb

Put the crayons away. Pete has been told this at least 7 times in this thread in very simple terms. It has never registered and never will.

I've never understood when people say that.

I eat spicy foods daily and it never effects my shit. My shit this morning was glorious and no burning. Basically a no wipe ghost poop, which are amazing. Other benefit of COVID is I couldn't smell a fucking thing!

Pfizer CEO says their vaccine may be ready by October and they're essentially going to give it away?

This right here.

And if there's reason to be optimistic it's that vaccine trials and this virus are looking promising. All the more reason to mitigate risk for now if we honestly have a shot at an effective vaccine.

Thanks for your posts in here.

I am sure you read about this story that just happened where 3 teachers shared the same classroom and they all got Covid and one died. You have to think about the staff as well. Having large groups of people indoors for an extended period of time I just think is pretty scary.
