A source close to the situation divulged that they believe that Mahomes is “definitely playing Sunday” following his limited participation in Wednesday’s practice.
Hope so, but "according to source" and "they believe" is pretty weak stuff. [Reply]
Nobody can say for certain until he passes the baseline neurological tests thing. Which according to the protocol is after each of the next 3 phases. [Reply]
So courageous for these people to say Mahomes will surely play, it's what I like to call the Bob Fescoe. Only a small chance you could be proven wrong, so why not say "my sources say...." when really we all know it's just you taking the safest possible risk with the least amount of blowback on yourself. Sure, but if they're 99% sure he never had a concussion in the first place, it's not like the results of the next three phases are going to be surprising. [Reply]
