Ordered a quest yesterday since you can't find them in stores. Any must have apps? I'm mainly interested in live sports, hopefully NFL is in VR this year. I have an Alienware gaming pc so I can also use it for pc games, but I mainly play sports games and don't see much there in VR yet. [Reply]

I was sneaky through these catacombs/tombs last night (the game is very dark as you only have a small flashlight) and my dogs started rubbing up against my legs... freaked me the eff out.
This has to be the scariest game ever made. I can't think of what would top it.
Yeah, I don't think it's for me. Plus my den is too small and I have four cats. I think I'd be tripping over shit constantly. [Reply]

Naw, you can play standing in the same spot. You walk with your thumb joysticks (like any other game on Xbox/PS).

It depends on the genre you like? Here are some of the games I enjoy as an adult male...
Jump/scare Dungeon crawlers: Dreadhalls - (Dungeon maze crawler with no fighting defenses. SCARY! Adaptive Maze design, never the same thing twice when you die)
Cosmophobia - (Space theme crawler with Weapons/crafting. Scary... if you like the movie "ALIEN")
Great Puzzle Games: Red Matter - (Space theme adventure mystery solving. Some of the best Graphics on Quest)
RoomVR - (Sherlock Holmes meets NES DeJaVu)
I Expect You to Die - (James Bond theme Puzzle adventure, this game is actually REALLY fun.)
MYST - (A remake of the original PC puzzle adventure. Pretty difficult.)
Story Mode Adventure: Star Wars Vader Immortal - (An interactive Star Wars movie and the best graphics on Quest 2 to date. Want to become a Jedi and move stuff with your mind/hands? This is the ultimate star wars fan item. It could also be considered a Work-Out game if you play the Dojo. Sweat, Sweat, Sweat. )
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxies Edge - (Another Star Wars Adventure, but this time in RPG style.)
The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners - (Still one of the best storylines and gameplay in VR.)
Resident Evil 4 - (About 10-20 hours of gameplay depending on skill. Lots of Shooting.)
OrbusVR - (The only MMORPG on Quest for now. Big open world with hundreds of players, fighting monsters and collecting loot/exp. End game Raids/dungeons. The graphics can be kinda lame though.)
Realistic Style Shooting: Onward - (The closest game to real combat style.)
Work Out/Sports: Beat Saber - (Slice boxes to the beat like Guitar Hero... except this is a major workout).
Golf+ - Golf! With Top Shot
Once you get sick of games from inside the Quest store... you can purchase an app called "Virtual Desktop" which streams your gaming PC to your Quest 2 through wireless connection. This will allow you to play any STEAM VR game. (Opening up hundreds more games) [Reply]

PS: Half-Life Alyx is hands down the best graphical VR game to date. This game sets the bar.... holy shit how did I miss this game for so long? [Reply]
