Millions of people in Puerto Rico need fuel, water, food and medicine. More than a week after Hurricane Maria devastated the island, major infrastructure is still down. Stores have trouble filling their shelves. Families are running low on the supplies they stockpiled before the storm, and across the island, many residents say they haven't seen any aid deliveries.

Meanwhile, at the port in San Juan, row after row of refrigerated shipping containers sit humming. They've been there for days, goods locked away inside.

San Juan... Isn't that the place with the really terrible Mayor who's too busy being a fluffer for the liberals instead of worrying about her own people?

Again, Trump is proven right. Thank God we finally have a POTUS that calls a spade a spade, even while they're being a spade.

Yeah...you know it. Brother Bob and the rest of the compassionate, loving, and exemplary Christians who frequent this fine uplifting and heartwarming discussion board will be the inspiration for me to change my ways and seek to be born yet again....and to finally be cleansed of my selfish and hateful ways. The new found wisdom will enable me to embrace the benevolent and saintly Brother Trump as the divine presence and savior he is-- he who, truly, will make A'merica great once again. Amen.

Crowley says it has more than 3,400 commercial containers at its terminal now. That's just one shipping company, at one port. Several other ports are accepting shipments, and stranded crates total an estimated 10,000.

That's because Puerto Ricans want everything done for them.

I'm not against helping PR. Where the fuck did you pull that shit from?

And despite your dreamy stereotype, I haven't attended church in decades. I don't need organized religion to help me be a decent person.

These days you have to be a member of the Church of Government or a socialist/communist to be a decent person. Didn't you know that?

This is just a rinse and repeat of the criticism of Bush on Katrina. It's a guaranteed to happen knee jerk response to anything a Republican president does but to the tenth power with Trump. I don't know about you but I was just waitin' for it to happen. They're like push-dolls.

People forget that PR voted to become a state so they could be bailed out with US govt money. I say set them free to be independent.

Now if Trump would just scrap the Jones Act completely instead of just temporarily.

A friend of my was hired as out of state worker to clean up ground zero and the union labor would dump toxic waste on them while they were cleaning up the area. Unions aren't a bad idea, but lets not acting like they are free from bad actors.
