Thanks!

The whole "suppress until a vaccine" wouldn't ever work unless you have complete buy in from the populace for long term amounts of time.

In the end, we're gonna have to just power thru until there's a vaccine and do what we have to do in terms of distancing and such.

The US was never gonna be New Zealand or South Korea. Way too much disagreement. So at this point, just dig in and hope the hospitals hold up.

Germany still seems to be holding out pretty well while their neighbors go down.

Germany just hit a record high in cases BY FAR. 25% over their March peak.

LET'S DO THAT!

There's an obvious answer that cannot be discussed here...

The obvious answer is they didn't do this:

Czechia was one of the first Western countries to put a mask mandate in place, and was one of the countries that most successfully contained the virus in the spring and summer. It lifted that mandate, and eased social distancing rules, in July. Et voila. https://t.co/7bUydwCMXB

I didn't know that but I guess that means he is wrong about life. Thanks for the memo.

Now did you read the article? I still haven't. Is he right or wrong and if so, which and why?

Covid finally came to our doorstep as my wife came into contact with a colleague who is symptomatic this week and positive this week. Had to cancel our very small getogther with the grandparents for my sons birthday this weekend and all manner of other things. What a shitshow.

On another note, we've seen a dramatic spike in Covid cases being followed at my facility We were at 30 on 9/22, and a month later we are at 87. Thankfully inpatient stays aren't drastic yet.

He's cherrypicking from a bunch of legit articles to reach his own weird conclusions. The majority of the sources he uses are studying influenza. This guy is a well known quack.

Even expired N95s, or using them even with facial hair or not a perfect seal offers very good protection.
