I know that Lamar liked them, but the white on white uniforms are, to me, a metaphor for the darkest years of the franchise.
They wore them on the 2006 home opener when Robert Geathers ended Green. It was also the first game of Herman Edwards. From that moment until 2013, the Chiefs were among the worst franchises in the league. They had three 12+ loss seasons in eight years, and more murder-suicides than playoff wins. [Reply]
Red on Red is fun, but Red on White is the true classic. Almost all the best moments in Chiefs history has them Red on White. At least that's how I remember it. [Reply]
