I have never once seen ESPN, NFL Network, FOX, PFT, or any other place talk about Bieniemy's checkered past during his head coaching quest. Not once.
Nobody knows about it, because the information isn't fed to them. And if they don't know it's out there, they're not going to go looking for it.
To be fair, Skip brought up EB's off-field issues from his past on Undisputed some time in the last week or so. He didn't get into any specifics, just basically said "he had some off-field issues when he was at CO."
