Twas a good game. Whoever had the last drive was gonna win. Luckily for us the Chiefs had that final drive and there wasn't another 30-45 seconds left for the Raiders. [Reply]
OP: unlike some on here (Pats fans in particular), you’ve got the gut to come back after talking smack and your team loses.
Don’t get me wrong. I hate the Raiders. I was born to hate the Raiders. And it feels better to hate the Raiders when they’re just good enough that our victories crush their little hopes of significance.
But you got guts and grit and I tip my hat. [Reply]

I think that Gruden was an very good coach to begin with. I mean, he basically won a SB against a team that he built.
But, I think he spent a lot of his time as a member of the media preparing for a return to coaching, when no one thought he would ever go back to coaching. He took over a dumpster fire, with a bum at QB, and has managed to make them both shine.
What he has done with Carr this year is beyond amazing.
And Mike Mayock & Gruden have taken all the picks they acquired, and turned them into very good football players.
Mike Mayock seems to have made the transition from draft guru to General Manager look simple. And because of his success as a GM, I fully expect Mel Kiper to be named the next GM of the New York Jets.
It sucks to say, but the Raiders are probably only going to keep getting better.
Mahomes, now Carr, and Herbert may give the AFC West the best group of young-ish QBs for any division.
After having utterly dominated the division for so long I feel that the Raiders sneaked up on Reid a bit. Most of the Chiefs organization going into this season were likely thinking same old Raiders, same old Carr. We will be much more focused on them here onwards. [Reply]
