The son's school system is canceling school (all in all a smart choice IMO), the wife can't get the day off, so I'm taking the day off and taking the younger son to a farm owned by people in our scout troop that's a few miles south of the line. If the weather holds we'll get 2+ minutes of totality.

Woot..

Thats awesome. Wish I knew somebody that lived in the area I am heading. Would be nice to have a parking spot and access to a bathroom. :-)

Doesn't look too good for a lot of us tomorrow. I'm watching in Columbia. It looked better earlier, about 50% cloud cover expected. Now it's 80. St. Jo now expected to be 99%

I headed east instead of north. Looked like it was going to be cloud covered in Columbia. I'm at Farmington MO. Looks like a greater chance of seeing it here but I'm getting nervous. It's starting to cloud up.

It's raining in St. Joe. Might be a blessing if it clears out in a few hours.

I'll go outside, look at it, then I'll go back inside and continue working. What's the big deal?
