Nah I would not sign Zeke either. He wants more than what Gurley got, he has off the field issues and without Zeke Dak would show his real value, which is low.

If there's anything that can be learned from NFL contract AAV's it's that it doesnt mean shit.

I wouldn’t. I would let Zeke go (not interested in building a team around a running back) and I would give Dak permission to seek a trade (he’s good, but not 30 per year good). If someone makes an offer I like, they can have Dak and I ‘ll start again in the draft. If not, he can play out his contract or he can sit out his contract- his choice. I would be willing to take my lumps for a year and draft a new QB with my high draft pick.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's representatives are not asking for $40M/year, source familiar with negotiations tells @usatodaysports. Source: "That is false."

Anybody that hopes this actually happens is short sighted. This would be as bad for the QB market, screwing other teams, as the Todd Gurley contract has done to the RB market.

If Mahomes can keep racking up the endorsements, it may be to our advantage. The better the team, and Mahomes, does, the more endorsement opportunities he will most likely have. The more he makes from endorsements gives him the financial flexibility to take less from the team and surround himself with better talent. It's a win-win if it comes to be.

I wouldn't want him for $20 million.....his contract is going to ruin every team with an average QB....which is good for KC. Mariotta and Winston contracts are coming up. Chiefs will actually get elite returns on what they pay for.

I have never really been impressed with Dak. He is the poor man's Cam Newton without the production.

Dak is literally the new era version of Alex Smith. Actually he has never even been as good as Alex was in 2017, however the “but he just wins!” bullshit tagline is still the same.

His career high is 22 TD’s and 3,885 yards :-)

Alex Smith has never held a team hostage like this...Dak Smith is a poor man's Alex Smith, and should be paid accordingly.

Alex Smith never had leverage to hold a team hostage.
