ShowtimeSBMVP 08:36 PM 01-24-2021

T Eric Fisher is out with an achilles injury.

tough break for Chiefs and Fisher. They'll play in Super Bowl without either starting tackle. https://t.co/O4KR9KJ65r

Jack Youngblood once played a Super Bowl with a broken leg.

D-day was a disaster tactically speaking and they didn't complain and still succeeded.

WE CAN DO THIS !!!!!

There could be some outside possibilities: Mitch is able to come back (about 1.25% chance :-) ), put Durant at RT and leave Wylie at RG, maybe something with Rankin although I doubt we see him.
Durant has absolutely no business starting in a Super Bowl.

They’ve got Vea back too.

It's way too early but it makes more sense to have Rankin start at Left Tackle so that the rest of the line doesn't have to shift around.

I'm more concerned about a healthy Watson and CEH. The Chiefs were able to win games last year with Cam Erving at Left Tackle and I don't think there's a chance in hell that either Remmers or Rankin are worse than Erving.

Both their starting safeties are hurt right, Winfield last week and the other this week?

Yep. Whitehead went out with shoulder injury. No details on severity.

Winfield should play in 2 weeks though.

How many times does the media try do draw the comparison of the Chiefs and no Fisher to Green Bay and no Bakhtiari over the next two weeks?

I bet Trent Williams would prefer a ring over one last payday.

They are saying Fisher has a torn Achilles. He’s probably a long shot to play till after the halfway point in the season.

The Silverback would be a great pickup.

Hopefully it's not actually ruptured, or he won't be ready for camp next year

Isn’t he under contract with the niners?

Yeah next year could be interesting if we’re replacing both starting tackles.

There is plenty of time to worry about that after the SB, but it certainly could end up happening.
