I think that bonus would probably be categorized as “likely to be earned” because he has played in the playoffs the last couple years, so it probably counted towards our cap which hopefully means the bonus will add to our rollover...at least it won’t deduct from it. The worst that could happen would be he plays just enough to get the bonus but is hobbled so is ineffective.

That would be wasted resources we will need next year.

Not exactly. He’s been really good in every postseason game prior to this year. Missing the playoffs is a new thing for him in KC.
