We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

I know we plan on signing Tyreek and Jones, but we should still have a lot of cap room in 2020. [Reply]

We have him on his rookie deal for 2, perhaps 3 more seasons.
The 2020 reference was made because we could offset these high priced FA's costs into 2020 (since we're only at about 20 mil cap space right now). [Reply]

2020 cap space is currently at $79M with Eric Berry and Sammy Watkins still on the roster. With those two gone, the Chiefs have over $100M in cap space.

Use facts sometime, they’re helpful.
Those also don’t include Tyreek Hill and Chris Jones extensions along with cap numbers for free agents we sign this year like a Landon Collins me or somebody.
Hill and Jones will make a combined 30-35 mil a year. If we sign Landon Collins that’s up to 45 mil. Some people want Trey Flowers, that’s another 10 mil so we about 55 mil now. Oh yea Mahomes extension. That’s gonna be 30 mil plus a year. So we at 85 mil now! Cap space at around 15 mil now [Reply]

Landon College and you would be terrible signings [Reply]
A couple under the radar or non starter type signings could be DT/NT Jay Bromley of the Saints. Former Giant. Good option for backup DT competition. Colts DE Geneo Grissom. Even less of a hyped option he is a former Sooner and from Hutchinson KS. He’s a former Patriot where Daly has plenty of say whether they are even interested or not. He has been a developmental type and just moved on to Indy this year. More of them needing bodies at DE and LEO but not a guy to get excited about. Probably be a few moves like that with former Giants, Patriots, and others who have played for Spags, Daly, and Merritt. [Reply]
Those convincing themselves Berry on the roster in 2019 is a good thing are delusional. Coaches/management included. Yes the Chiefs take a hit with dead money, but physically, Berry cannot be trusted. His presence last season with the entire day to day drama was a distraction.
His best friend was just released. I’m convinced he follows Houston out the door.

Fowler just re signed with the Rams. So I think Houston is a no go there [Reply]
