It's getting closer so I figure we could move some draft talk to the Lounge.

Charles Robinson usually has some good tidbits on stuff so heres a thread on some stuff he's hearing.

#NFL draft notes thread...

1. Evaluators are anxious to see #Alabama safety Deionte Thompson at today's pro day. There were concerns about his weight coming out of the combine (195 vs. 180ish in season). His speed/weight has left his overall report up in limbo for some teams.

He ran a slower 40 than you expected and that completely nullifies all of his tape?

4.53 hand timed which is basically 4.6

For a guy who's primary selling point was range I'm just not impressed.

Better draft Savage then. He ran a 4.39. Nevermind that he lacks instincts and isn't all that rangy despite his speed.

If they did this, it's a pretty good draft because Isabella cancels out Cashman. Isabella would be a steal there I think.

Two totally different players. Savage struggles in deep coverage, you'd only really want him in the box to start out and even that I'm not so sure of because of his size.
