WTF? So, we've previously seen Agnes being aware of Wanda's powers. Asking if they should redo a scene(Take it from the top). But now we see that she's actually also being held against her will, and what appeared to be the real her actually has no clue what's happening. I really thought she had some sort of part in it...
Does that mean that the baddie is just randomly "Possessing" the towns people? Hopping from one to the next inside the alternate dimension construct that Wanda created?
I'm getting the feeling that Wanda subconsciously created this whole thing, but she's not really powerful enough to hold it all together at the same time.
Including creating the boys and reanimating Vision. Wanda in the comics was basically treated like shit. She was always emotionally unstable because of it, which caused lots of huge problems for the world. Her powers were so great that she could get angry or emotional and accidentally change reality. Which I think is what's happening here, and even she isn't really aware of the extent of it. But yet something/someone is inside her construct, apparently unaffected by her powers, and it's toying with her emotions.

That’s according to Parrot Analytics, the audience attention measurement system that captures an audience behavior dataset by sifting through social media, fan ratings, and piracy data to represent audience demand. Their calculation shows that the sitcom-styled show has become the world’s most in-demand TV show across all platforms less than four weeks after its Jan. 15th debut. And in a stroke of good timing, the formidable viewership comes just prior to Disney’s upcoming earnings call.
Specifically, Parrot Analytics noted that while initially WandaVision had somewhat lackluster viewing metrics, bouncing between the number 7 and 35 spots worldwide, it eventually landed as the second or third most in-demand series since its third episode released on Jan. 22.

Now that I think about it Mojo would make more sense as a villain than Mephisto. Makes sense why there is a television signal buried in the cosmic radiation.

I think the thing that really surprised me (she’s always been hot, I just can’t stop talking about it) is how good of an actress she is (became? IDK). They’ve really put a lot on her and she has done a TON of stuff that could fall flat. Bettany has been awesome forever, but I didn’t expect Olsen to deliver such a good performance. I’m truly impressed.

I've been waiting on Mojo since Legion. Mojo would absolutely be an avenue to getting the X-Men and that side of Marvel over to the MCU as well.

And why does Vision have no memory of being an Avenger, or even what an Avenger is? Is this the same thing as with Pietro - she just reaches out across the multiverse and brings what she wants to her? Or is she creating them both out of nothingness and animating them the way she thinks she remembers them (that doesn't explain X-Men Pietro, though)?

I think it's the latter but I love that 6 episodes in, we're all guessing.
I thought that Episode 5 was awesome but wow, Episode 6 took it up another notch.

I took it as she only animates people to the extent that she needs them to advance her plot. The rest she doesn’t spend much bandwidth on. That’s why the one couple was sitting there doing the same shit.

Pietro is the mystery. I get the impression she doesn’t get it (she asked him about where he was) and is uncomfortable around him. Check her body language with MCU Pietro vs XMen Pietro. Definitely more closed off and tense.

I thought it was interesting that both Pietro's died from being shot multiple times. I didn't pay enough enough to notice whether or not the gun shot wounds were in the same exact places but if memory serves, it's either the same or close.
I don't know if that means that when people die, they die the same exact way throughout the multiverse or if this is just a one-off, but it's definitely food for thought, IMO.

Not remarked enough about Olsen is how ably she shifts subtly between narratives and the acting styles each demands.
She captures the essence of the sitcom housewife as it evolves over the decades, then when the pressures and uncertainties of the real world impinge, she shifts and the mood shifts with her. [Reply]
