Most of us believed it was an act (directed by BB) to get him released, so he could sign with New England.

I think it was reasonable to believe that he wasn’t THAT crazy, because it all seemed so over the top...like someone trying to get released. Turns out, he was more troubled than anyone realized at the time.

Some people are just assholes. There's a lot of players with CTE, most of them don't act like this.

And there's a lot of assholes in this world who don't have CTE.

CTE is an issue. I am not saying he wasn't an asshole before CTE... but this downward spiral he is on seems like the bottom dropped out quick.

CTE affect decision making and is real. Mental heath is real.

I agree with the rest of it that some players might have it and function ok, but when the bottom drops, I question the impact of brain damage to do that so quickly.


Just to be clear: I am not blaming CTE for his choices.. he made them. Thats like blaming a gun for a murder, just because he had it, doesnt mean its the guns fault. I think he has a mental illness though. And I think he has CTE.

I was watching someone break down the timeline of ABs melt down.
It all started after that hit from Burfict at the end of the year couple years back.

It all fit the time line.
