Pretty interesting that the only 2 teams other than the Pats he's worked with burned to the ground in almost the same way.
Don't you ever try to make excuses for that motherfucker Scott Pioli, even by proxy. His soul is pig shit. [Reply]

Oh yeah, he birthed and groomed this shitdick. It was Piolis idea to implement this stupid patriot way. I just wonder if in Easterby you have the most maniacal implementer of the patriot way possible. [Reply]

That's like wondering if Himmler was actually more evil than Hitler [Reply]

So Easterby is the Rudolf Hoss of the Patriots. Interesting. [Reply]

The Jets are a way more functional place than Houston. They have draft picks, a coach that DeShaun will surely like and they’ll have structure.

Their GM has done a decent job so far
They are probably going to have to give up many of those draft picks in any potential trade to get Watson.
And Saleh is a first time HC with a defensive background... seems like a big risk for Watson to jump into an unknown situation like that. [Reply]

I am not doubting Watson couldn't have individual success with the Jets, in terms of his stats, but if his long term plan is to win (which he obviously did NOT do in the 2020 Texans example you listed above), then the Jets are a very risky/unknown situation. [Reply]

But he'd have a really solid OC in Lafleur. That system would be really interesting with a qb like Watson. And he's gotta like having a lot of foundational offense talent like mims, perine, Becton and an absurd amount of cap space for more weapons. Seems like a great situation.
As someone else said, I can't imagine a good reason for Watson to jump into another patriot way regime in Miami after what he just went through. [Reply]
