Yes. Why didn't he play Dean Wade in the middle of the zone and let him score/make plays for those 14 minutes of game time? He just stuck him on the perimeter doing nothing. :-)

yeah, Weber is a dream for KU fans, and a nightmare for KSU (as he does just enough each season to stick around).

He's a terrible in-game coach, and got the deer in headlights look as soon as Self switched to zone.

KSU maybe had 3-4 decent possessions for a long stretch in the 2nd half due to the switch to zone.

Even worse once the guards started poking the ball loose on his dribble he was in his own head.

Their only offense against the zone was jack bad 3s or have Brown beat 3 guys. Oh and don’t rebound. I’m perplexed.

Just stick Wade in the middle of that soft zone and have him score some points/make some plays and Self goes right away from it. But Weber has no clue what he's doing thankfully. I feel like I say that every KSU game.
