correct, I was rebutting folks who say round 1 and 2 guys should all be starters. More misses than hits nearly every year.

The Chiefs should expect starters.

Maybe not some other teams.

You have to be trolling at his point, so i will take DJ's advice, not worth the time.

Probably about 3-1 in favor.

Or maybe it was a vocal minority, but I kinda doubt it.

CP was awfully high on the Moore pick.

Yeah i didn't wanna say shit, but....no....CP was largely in favor of Moore and it was a small, vocal minority against the pick. Revisionist history and all that....

Yes, listen to the old man who got his feelings hurt because he hasn’t had male level testosterone in a few decades.

You should fit in great with the other Bingo hall characters.

Creed and Bolton are different because you're talking about positional value as well.

If you're taking a C or MLB in the 2nd, the expectation that they're day 1 starters is reasonable.

But if you think whatever OT, DE, WR, CB, etc. that you draft should be a day 1 starter, your expectations just aren't realistic.

Down the line? Sure. Day 1? Silly expectations.

So if the Chiefs draft an OT at 64, your expectation is that they're a day 1 starter?

Agreed. If I take the Yale kid I’m not expecting him to start day 1.

Mahomes is the best player to play, and he wasn’t a starter until year 2.

Now, could he have been a starter from the beginning, probably. But he wouldn’t be the mahomes he is today. He learned a lot over that time and became a better player that was very ready as soon as he became a starter and leader in that role.

Hell, theres about a 50% chance that pick 32 is gonna be a bust.

Red-absolutely bust
Yellow-borderline bust/contributor
Green-he good

Only 10 of the last 21 picks at 32 overall was worth a shit in reality, and only 2 or 3 were actually stars:

Exactly and when we're talking about the Chiefs 2nd round picks, that's also at the bottom of the 2nd.

Instant day 1 starter there is a ridiculous expectation.
