Rams CB Aqib Talib, on NFL Network just now: "I had a great visit with the doctor today. It looks like the week after Thanksgiving, I'll be full speed, ready to go." Rams have a bye in Week 12, then play the Lions Dec. 2, three games from now. They sure could use him.

6 of our 8 wins are against these explosive offenses. I am not sure if that says something good about our defense, or something bad. How much did our defense add to their explosive play totals?

We have NOTHING to worry about. This is going to be a glorified scrimmage.
I remember Bill Maas saying "All we have to do is show up" when they were playing a horrible New England team back in the 90s. That team punched the Chiefs right in the mouth and got out to a 14 zip lead in the first qtr. the Chiefs did win the game but they had to fight their asses off to win it.

I expect Sutton will drop everyone to slow down Goff and Gurley will give us the good ol’ Leveon Bell treatment.
Pat is going to whip it out and Molly Whop their defense.
I'm more afraid of golden retriever puppies than Goff. Little, fluffy, waggy, golden retriever puppies. Gurley will be nothing more than a receiver come the 3rd quarter.
37-31 Chiefs. Rams get the obligatory 10 in garbage time. [Reply]

I sure wouldn’t.
They live off of running the ball and using hard PA to get Goff clean pockets and easy throws. I’d send lots of pressure knowing that I’m not going to stop them much either way, but maybe you get some TFLs or big sacks/INTs that way. [Reply]
