I think Omenihu is gone by pick 50, and Boykin that high is a bit rich for my liking. I do like the list however. A lot of needs checked off with talent that can contribute sooner than later.

Jerry Tillery + Chris Jones would be a great combo.

Was thinking about doing my own but I would also have taken Tillery round 1.

I just think while the obvious needs are CB/DE, there's a good chance the top 3 CB and top 5 DE are gone by 20. I think a big trade up, like giving up the 2020 1st round pick, is a bad idea. A trade up a few spots to 24 or something I'd be fine with.

If we're standing pat, I think the most likely falling positions on D are DT and S. I'd love if Tillery fell to us, and I'd also be okay with a Thornhill or Gardener Johnson.

Mostly meh on Mullen, Boykin might be too early and Gaskin probably going before late 6th.

That noise you are hearing is Josh Norris screaming with excitement. Boykin (6'4/220) got Norris' attention after an incredible performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, and it was quite clear that Boykin had juice at Notre Dame whenever he had adequate quarterback play. Unfortunately, that wasn't too often. Otherwise, Boykin would have been on everyone's radar earlier in the process. A second-round selection would be a huge boost for Boykin's NFL projection as it was presumed that he was near the Round 3/4 borderline.

For those of you that think the 2nd is too early for Boykin

In that case, I'd pass.

The guy is 6’4” 220 lbs with a 4.42 40 and 6.77 3 cone

He has #1 WR upside and is great insurance for Tyreek IMO.

I’d prefer a Samuel or Campbell, but they’ll be gone.

He also has good probability of being another Chris Conley.

Not saying no, but not in the 2nd in a draft like this. If someone else wants to do it, hey great for them. But it shouldn't be us.

I disagree with that comparison. Conley never flashed that athleticism on the field like Boykin and a lot of that is because of his bad 3 cone time. Boykin doesn’t lack agility like Conley and it shows on tape. He just plays faster period.

Agree with Bryan. Personally I'm either hoping Samuel, Isabella, Campbell, or Butler is somehow there at the back of the 2nd, if not then WR maybe not the pick until later.

You can disagree all you want, but I think it applies. You're drafting more on the workout numbers and they're both guys that didn't run great routes or could beat press.

Boykin also had 800+ yards and 8 TD’s last season. Way better than any season Conley ever had with worse QB play. Disagree all you want, but it’s a lazy comparison.
