I hadn't thought about this, but Kareem's got a really strong $50 million lawsuit against them, right? They leaked evidence that clearly cost him a lot of money.

Police provided a copy of the police report involving the February 10, 2018 assault incident at The 9 to a representative from the National Football League.

The report did not go through the official public records request process.

So the NFL has a connection at the Cleveland PD...that will give them police reports "off record"?

This is going to get interesting..

He clearly has a case for a lawsuit against TMZ....as does the hotel who's footage they illegally obtained.

Hunt was renting a room there...not just an weekend thing. The hotel most definitely doesn't want sensitive surveillance video of its high-profile patrons sold to a tabloid TV. It's their property...and was stolen. Did TMZ get clearance from them to make it public?

Cleveland PD supposedly never had a copy of the hotel footage... as it was a misdemeanor.

The big question is did TMZ make a public request for the police cam footage...and when? The date will be very interesting. The hotel footage and the police footage were obtained from two different sources. If TMZ didn't make a formal request...Hunt can sue the shit out of both of them.

Dang he's gonna come out ahead, sure he would still prefer to be on the super bowl champs though.

Lol if Kareem is able to sue the crap out of TMZ and the hotel it would be the sweetest thing ever. Tmz have literally tried to destroyl the kid's career in order to gain clicks, and i hope he has no mercy on them whatsoever.

Shit...I would have no mercy at all. TMZ railroaded his ass out of nowhere. "Brutalized"...more like stupid drunken scuffle.

I would come after them with even ounce of my being...for trying to ruin my life for some clicks.

What Hunt did was wrong...but nowhere near deserving the media pile-on/life destroying aftermath.

Now TMZ is trying to dig up dirt on an altercation at a KC nightclub....Hunt HAS to be thinking "what the **** did I ever do to you"...this whole thing is really, really weird...and is getting weirder.

If the incident happened last week then maybe i could understand them leaking fresh news. But they've seemingly been pressuring people for the video for the last ten months, and then they distort the truth by creating a false headline. I really do hate that organization and i pray that Kareem has a case here. Because them losing a substantial amount of money is the only way they will learn a lesson.

The question thats been rolling around in my mind is..."if this had happened before the Ray Rice incident...would people even care"? Nobody was injured and no charges were filed...

That Ray Rice video was brutal...I though he had killed her. He nonchalantly drug her limp body out of an elevator like a meaningless sack of potatoes...it was creepy....just the lack of concern.

What Hunt did was nothing like that..on any level. Not even the same planet...**** TMZ and these SM retards. NFL is treating it like its the same level of violence...and it is not.

TMZ needs to burn for this...

It trully is sickening. Because by constantly bringing up Rice in relation to the Kareem incident, they are pretty much saying "Rice and Hunt did the same thing", which as you pointed out is utterly absurd. The fact is BOTH Kareem and the girl were physical against eachother, it wasn't a one way street and if Kareem really wanted to do some damage, the chance was there but he didn't. Now Kareem is in hell and those smug pr/cks at tmz continue to pile on. Please God let thid kid have a case to sue, it would be such a joyous day to see them punks grovelling for mercy.

You guys are on drugs if you think Hunt has any sort of claim against TMZ that will net him anything in civil court.

Why? The headline they used WAS misleading and they may have obtained the video in an underhand way, so why not?

They're just idiots. TMZ has been doing this for over 10 years.

:-) So Kareem Hunt is going to sue TMZ for using a sensationalist headline and the fact that they may have obtained the video illegally? Hell, that's tabloid journalism 101.
