The Duffy stuff hurts to read. I’m not endorsing the trade when I say GMDM is more likely to move him after the DUI, but I think it’s just how it is .

GMDM is the type of god fearin’ man who linked pornography to domestic violence. He also has a history of cutting and trading players after DUI’s (even heartthrob favorites such as Kyle Davies) GMDM seemed a special kind of pissed off and betrayed after that press conference.

If the DUI doesn’t happen, I at least wonder if Duffy would be off the table like Sal has seemed to be so far this offseason.

You lose your first if you sign a free agent who declined a qualifying offer, right? What if you sign three or.four, you lose more rounds of draft picks?

Gotta just stick his ass in RF and have him sink or swim at this point. I think he swims. There will always be holes in his swing but I saw him pull his hands in and punish some inside pitches with the Cubs so he's not completely helpless in that regard. Preston Tucker got DFA'd by Houston

As a Cards fan I'd like to have him as a lefty stick with some power off the bench but if Solar can't get the defense figured out and has to DH, the Royals could find a lot of at-bats for him in RF I would think.
